The year that was.

Why do we even blog about the year that was? Is it because we want to share the lessons we've learned, or simply because we want to reminisce? Maybe we're just being too nostalgic? 2012 was pretty challenging, though it is (like any year), blessed. Things were not perfect, no matter how cliche this sounds, everything happened for a reason. The year that I allowed myself to take the risk for me to love and be loved. The moment I 'gave up', I allowed Him to work in my life. It's amazing how God fills our lives when we have nothing, when are not holding unto anything but our faith. Blogging about the year that was won't have the same 'feel' as the moments that happened, but this will serve as a guide as we move forward.
